Epifanio Urtungo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Orlanda in the 3rd minute of play. Epifanio Urtungo was a little too slow when Lorenzo Vidal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, Romulo Avellaneda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Freddy Fernandes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Lorenzo Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Epifanio Urtungo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Teodoro Froylan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Panpili in the 25th minute of play forced Club Atletico Parana's goalkeeper Freddy Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Vidal got free with Epifanio Urtungo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Niceto Perez fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AMARGOS's protests and gave Niceto Perez a yellow card for diving instead. 32 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Parana's Constantino Leobardo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 36 minutes into the match, AMARGOS's goalkeeper Epifanio Urtungo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Vidal. Freddy Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Avellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Romulo Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Orlanda in the 45th minute of play forced AMARGOS's goalkeeper Epifanio Urtungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, AMARGOS's Niceto Perez got a free kick in the 70th minute. Fabian Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Fernandes having to interfere. 1-3 became the score in the 84th minute when Fabian Panpili elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Fabian Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AMARGOS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
