Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ignacio Tabor started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Ignacio Tabor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Baristo was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Isaias Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaias Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nicanor Lizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute of the match Benigno Tipi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicanor Lizar skillfully saved the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Sarandí AFC's Clemente Mazuste sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicanor Lizar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sarandí AFC's Cristian Baristo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Tabor in the 43rd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Isaias Franco made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Clemente Mazuste ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicanor Lizar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cristian Baristo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Tabor, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Clemente Mazuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Lizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Peli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Baristo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Franco in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicanor Lizar saved Palmas F.C. from getting behind. Cristian Baristo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Tabor in the 73rd minute of play. Maximiliano Erramun kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Palmas F.C.'s Federico Salomone got a free kick in the 79th minute. Clemente Mazuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Clemente Mazuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Isaias Franco in the 92nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Nicanor Lizar kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Palmas F.C.'s Nicanor Lizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Franco in the 95th minute of play. The Palmas F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sarandí AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
