The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Froylan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Parana's Teodoro Froylan got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Ignacio Tabor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Club Atletico Parana's Wilfredo Orlanda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicanor Lizar. Nicanor Lizar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Wilfredo Orlanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Lizar having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Narciso Emesto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmas F.C. and the Club Atletico Parana players grew even worse after the yellow card. Narciso Emesto hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Wilfredo Orlanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Nicanor Lizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Club Atletico Parana's Wilfredo Orlanda in the 18th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Nicanor Lizar was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Palmas F.C. through an amazing save. After 21 played minutes Club Atletico Parana got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Froylan. David Blai kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Daniel Errando, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Parana's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Tabor came free, but Freddy Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Lizar having to interfere. Nicanor Lizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Orlanda in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Club Atletico Parana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Froylan to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignacio Tabor to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Orlanda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicanor Lizar was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Nicanor Lizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Orlanda in the 57th minute of play. In the 58thth minute of the game David Blai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmas F.C.'s Nicanor Lizar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Ignacio Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Pelis short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Freddy Fernandes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 71st minute, Palmas F.C.'s Leandro Peli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 75 minutes into the match, Palmas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Orlanda came free, but Nicanor Lizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palmas F.C.'s Nicanor Lizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Vidal in the 76th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, Club Atletico Parana's Wilfredo Orlanda made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicanor Lizar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute, Federico Salomone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Wilfredo Orlanda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Parana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Club Atletico Parana players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
