The supporters of Sarandí AFC booed when Bayauca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Teodor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sarandí AFC's Isaias Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquilino Unax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Mazuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaias Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Unax having to interfere. Julio Abella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cristian Baristo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Filomeno Matteo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayauca's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Matteo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Baristo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 25 minutes, Julio Abella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayauca and the Sarandí AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julio Abella hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Sarandí AFC's Cristian Baristo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Matteo in the 35th minute of play. Maximiliano Erramun hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Sarandí AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Julio Abella fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When Bayauca's Filomeno Matteo, in the 74th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Bayauca. If Leo Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sarandí AFC booed when Bayauca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Baumar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
