The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sarandí AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Maximiliano Erramun hit a great ball. Fabian Panpili might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Baristo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Panpili ran back to his position shaking his head. AMARGOS's Epifanio Urtungo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save AMARGOS from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute Fabian Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Baristo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isaias Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Baristo having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Fabian Panpili had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Baristo. Sarandí AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Panpili was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Sarandí AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AMARGOS were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Panpili stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabian Panpili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Mazuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Romulo Avellaneda came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the AMARGOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Avellaneda couldn't finish the play. Fabian Panpili took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Baristo. Cristian Baristo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Fabian Panpili's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Baristo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Niceto Perez might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Baristo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 92 minutes, Clemente Mazuste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarandí AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Mazuste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
