Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Bruno Euloxu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bruno Euloxu made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Lorenzo Vidal sent off a good shot on target. Freddy Fernandes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elvio Ignado went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Bruno Euloxu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Teodoro Froylan had to leave the field with a concussion. 35 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Rozarius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Parana the free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Godfredo Sotil a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Godfredo Sotil hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Godfredo Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilfredo Orlanda charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfredo Orlanda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Parana's Wilfredo Orlanda got a free kick in the 61st minute. Andres Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Ignado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Freddy Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andres Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Fernandes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Elvio Ignado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Ignado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute, Andres Neto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Freddy Fernandes, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Club Atletico Parana getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Wilfredo Orlanda hit a great ball. Andres Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Vidal in the 95th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Bruno Euloxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Euloxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Boca Juniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
