In the 11thth minute of the game Lorenzo Vidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmas F.C.'s Nicanor Lizar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Froylan during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Daniel Errando sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Atletico Parana's Freddy Fernandes didn't even have to move. Freddy Fernandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Peli's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. If Lorenzo Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atletico Parana's Freddy Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Peli in the 84th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Parana's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Peli came free, but Freddy Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
