David Joey hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. A collision led to Rey Sol getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. David Joey hit a great ball. Santo Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute of the match Isaac Lucian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alonzo Iratzeder skillfully saved the ball. Godofredo Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Bonifaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 29 minutes, Santo Faron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rey Sol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Faron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santo Faron let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 35th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. SANTA MARIA DE ORO's Tadeo Montez couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rey Sol. Alonzo Iratzeder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnulfo Bonifaco went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnulfo Bonifaco made a kick off. Alonzo Iratzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Bonifaco in the 53rd minute of play. Rey Sol's Hector Artizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Olentzaro in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Santo Faron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonzo Iratzeder was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Tadeo Montez kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match Gustavo Inocente shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alonzo Iratzeder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to SANTA MARIA DE ORO getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cristo Larra hit a great ball. Arnulfo Bonifaco took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonzo Iratzeder. Alonzo Iratzeder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in SANTA MARIA DE ORO's zone, Santo Faron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Iratzeder came out of the goal and Santo Faron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnulfo Bonifaco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santo Faron in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonzo Iratzeder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Godofredo Velasco was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 88 minutes into the match, Rey Sol's goalkeeper Hector Artizar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Errapel. After a defensive mix-up in SANTA MARIA DE ORO's zone, Santo Faron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Iratzeder came out of the goal and Santo Faron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SANTA MARIA DE ORO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
