Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Rey Sol's Arnulfo Bonifaco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Santo Faron lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Remigio Teodor. In the 9th minute, Artemio Normando made a precise shot to the right of Hector Artizar. Rey Sol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With his leg Remigio Teodor managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Rey Sol's Santo Faron fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Santo Faron came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Rey Sol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Faron couldn't finish the play. Hector Artizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Perpinya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When David Joey fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rey Sol's protests and gave David Joey a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Rey Sol got a freekick which was hit by David Joey. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Santo Faron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rey Sol's supporters rose to their feet, but Santo Faron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Teodor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Juan Perpinya put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Hector Artizar. In the 35th minute, Arnulfo Bonifaco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Remigio Teodor, passed just outside the right post. When Rey Sol's Arnulfo Bonifaco in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chorrillo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Santo Faron struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Remigio Teodor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rey Sol. Fidel Misael charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Misael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Rey Sol's zone, Artemio Normando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Artizar came out of the goal and Artemio Normando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Joey kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Chorrillo FC's Teobaldo Ihintza couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rey Sol. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 51 played minutes Rey Sol got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Brun. If Artemio Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigio Teodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Bonifaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Rey Sol's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Donato Farias fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 64th minute, Juan Perpinya made a precise shot to the right of Hector Artizar. Rey Sol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Artemio Normando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Artizar having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Rey Sol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Millan to maneuver through the defense. Santo Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Remigio Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Juan Perpinya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rey Sol's Hector Artizar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Chorrillo FC's Juan Perpinya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hector Artizar. That made the score 2-4 after 77 minutes of play. After 82 minutes, Gustavo Inocente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rey Sol and the Chorrillo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Rey Sol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Inocente to maneuver through the defense. Rey Sol's Hector Artizar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Rey Sol from getting a goal against them. Santo Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Remigio Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Chorrillo FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Gerardo Bernebe hit a great ball. Chorrillo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
