Ramiro Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Alonzo Iratzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Olentzaro struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Isidoro Isias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SANTA MARIA DE ORO. In the 19th minute, Ramiro Balendin made a precise shot to the right of Alonzo Iratzeder. SANTA MARIA DE ORO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Gavino Olentzaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Olentzaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 29 minutes, Godofredo Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 41 minutes, Jacinto Aguirre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A. A. Iron Maiden and the SANTA MARIA DE ORO players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to A. A. Iron Maiden getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Jacinto Aguirre hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavino Olentzaro was the one to do the kick off. Isidoro Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Velasco in the 52nd minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play, A. A. Iron Maiden's Adolfo Locaio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonzo Iratzeder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isidoro Isias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Olentzaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes A. A. Iron Maiden got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Mattin. Isidoro Isias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Olentzaro in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Luciano Dalmai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A. A. Iron Maiden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SANTA MARIA DE ORO the free kick. Luciano Dalmai kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Ramiro Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. Isidoro Isias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godofredo Velasco's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. A. A. Iron Maiden had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
