The wind increased when Joel Acuña made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Joel Acuña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mercedes AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 60 played minutes Mercedes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Frances. In the 61st minute, Serafino Belarmo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mercedes AFC's Gonzalo Valentine didn't even have to move. If Joel Acuña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Acuña in the 70th minute of play forced Tuisón AFC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Miliano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Vimaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Miliano having to interfere. Mercedes AFC's Gonzalo Valentine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Mercedes AFC from getting a goal against them. Lorenzo Miliano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Acuña's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. When Emilio Gitano fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mercedes AFC's protests and gave Emilio Gitano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Mercedes AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Gitano to maneuver through the defense. Tuisón AFC's Lorenzo Miliano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Vimaro in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mercedes AFC had played much better football throughout.
