Clodoveo Padro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Acuña in the 9th minute of the match. Joel Acuña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute Severiano Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Padro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Acuña in the 20th minute of the match. Horacio Neron hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Bonifacio Vimaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arenal's Clodoveo Padro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximiliano Leoiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Severiano Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Mercedes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Gitano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Machado in the 29th minute of play forced Mercedes AFC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Severiano Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Leoiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bonifacio Vimaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Padro having to interfere. Clodoveo Padro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Acuña, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Arenal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mercedes AFC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severiano Machado made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Arenal's Tomás Mikelats got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Severiano Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clodoveo Padro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Acuña, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arenal's goalkeeper Clodoveo Padro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximiliano Leoiar spun around in front of the goal 70 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Mercedes AFC's goal. Nicolas Rioja hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Joel Acuña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Mikelats kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Joel Acuña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Padro having to interfere. Bonifacio Vimaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arenal's Maximiliano Leoiar got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Arenal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mercedes AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Mercedes AFC.
