Santos Gaxan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Terciero in the 12th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Arnas during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sklatenn F.C getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ramon Arnas hit a great ball. After 16 minutes, Fabian Sendoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA COLMENA F.C and the Sklatenn F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sklatenn F.C booed when LA COLMENA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Sendoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Marcelo Oto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sklatenn F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Oto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Ponce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LA COLMENA F.C's Felipe Ponce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Oxel in the 22nd minute of play. Marcelo Oto's late challenge caught a LA COLMENA F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Oto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Marcelo Oto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Angelo Terciero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Jon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Baldomero Benitez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Angelo Terciero managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA COLMENA F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Terciero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A well placed Angelo Terciero short distance shot in the 40th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 44th match minute, Sklatenn F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Ignado to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute of the match Sklatenn F.C got a corner. LA COLMENA F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelo Oto ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Oxel in the 55th minute of play forced LA COLMENA F.C's goalkeeper Felipe Ponce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Vincent kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Sklatenn F.C's Teobaldo Alvarez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Teobaldo Alvarez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sklatenn F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Teobaldo Alvarez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Sklatenn F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LA COLMENA F.C:s goal. When Dante Fagondo fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA COLMENA F.C's protests and gave Dante Fagondo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, LA COLMENA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Fagondo to maneuver through the defense. When Sklatenn F.C's Bernardino Munio in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA COLMENA F.C's goalkeeper Felipe Ponce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angelo Terciero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 98 minutes, Bernardino Munio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sklatenn F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Munio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LA COLMENA F.C had played much better football throughout.
