The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Chapaleofú FC's zone, Guillermo Viviano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Servando came out of the goal and Guillermo Viviano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillermo Viviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Servando having to interfere. When Sebastian Ascencio fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapaleofú FC's protests and gave Sebastian Ascencio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Sebastian Ascencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruperto Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Servando having to interfere. Santiago Servando came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Macri Gato AFC's Guillermo Viviano. But to his dismay, Guillermo Viviano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Santiago Servando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Valiente in the 28th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Savion during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lino Savion hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Edorta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rolando Hori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rolando Hori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Edorta in the 55th minute. Ruperto Valiente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Santiago Servando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago Servando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Valiente in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Valiente in the 64th minute of play forced Chapaleofú FC's goalkeeper Santiago Servando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Viviano might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Servando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guillermo Viviano ran back to his position shaking his head. After 69 minutes of play, Chapaleofú FC's Reynaldo Edorta made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Hori was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute of the match, Jeremias Joanes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Hori saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rolando Hori was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jeremias Joanes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 77 minute of play. Jeremias Joanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Macri Gato AFC's Rolando Hori got control of the ball when Reynaldo Edorta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Macri Gato AFC's Guillermo Viviano got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruperto Valiente took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Servando. Santiago Servando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Americo Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Americo Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Macri Gato AFC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Americo Batista hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
