The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Jesus Efraim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Lando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Empomadores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rexas FC the free kick. A collision led to Empomadores getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ermegildo Lando hit a great ball. After 18 minutes of play Empomadores's Ermegildo Lando was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 19th minute, Ermegildo Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 minutes, Amancio Quentin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Empomadores and the Rexas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Aurelio Aguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rexas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Aguirre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Ticho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Zacarias Chan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Aguirre made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 26thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Arnoldo Ticho would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Aurelio Aguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Ticho having to interfere. Arnoldo Ticho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Chan in the 40th minute of play. When Rexas FC's Zacarias Chan in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Rexas FC's Gavino Jerrald got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arnoldo Ticho. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimeno Uxio made a kick off. Aurelio Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Arnoldo Ticho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacarias Chan in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Ticho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zacarias Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Aguirre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Ticho was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After 94 minutes, Jeronimo Jenaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Empomadores and the Rexas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Rexas FC a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gavino Jerrald, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Empomadores's Arnoldo Ticho. 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rexas FC had played much better football throughout.
