Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jeremias Joanes started the match with the kick off. Tadeo Rojelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Servando having to interfere. Tadeo Rojelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Santiago Servando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Calixto's late challenge caught a Chapaleofú FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Calixto helped the player get up and apologised. Leopoldo Calixto hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Silvestre Bermund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Astigar in the 21st minute of play forced Chapaleofú FC's goalkeeper Santiago Servando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Adolfo Rencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Agustin Astigar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burmeister FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Astigar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Edorta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Adolfo Rencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Joanes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adolfo Rencio came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeremias Joanes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 39th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Jeremias Joanes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adolfo Rencio. Jeremias Joanes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute Burmeister FC were awarded a corner. Gabriel Azevedo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Burmeister FC's corner Gabriel Azevedo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Santiago Servando quite easily take care of the ball. Santiago Servando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Rojelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Tadeo Rojelio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burmeister FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Igor Quintyn charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Quintyn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Igor Quintyn hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Reynaldo Edorta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chapaleofú FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Edorta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Rencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santiago Servando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Astigar in the 76th minute. Burmeister FC's Leopoldo Calixto got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Leopoldo Calixto off the ground. In the 80th match minute, Burmeister FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Calixto to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Burmeister FC's zone, Jeremias Joanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Rencio came out of the goal and Jeremias Joanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Chapaleofú FC's Jeremias Joanes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adolfo Rencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. There was no doubt that Chapaleofú FC were the better team. Chapaleofú FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
