Arnoldo Ticho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Emilio Amor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Empomadores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chapaleofú FC the free kick. Jeremias Joanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Ticho having to interfere. If Reynaldo Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jimeno Uxio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Chapaleofú FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luisito Stephen 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Chapaleofú FC's goalkeeper Santiago Servando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Uxio. Santiago Servando came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Empomadores's Dante Clementi. But to his dismay, Dante Clementi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Luisito Stephen struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Santiago Servando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empomadores. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

If Jeremias Joanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Edorta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Arnoldo Ticho made a huge save. A collision led to Empomadores getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Silverio Eutropio hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Joanes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Ticho was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Empomadores's goalkeeper Arnoldo Ticho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Edorta. Emilio Amor hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Empomadores's zone, Jeremias Joanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Ticho came out of the goal and Jeremias Joanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Lando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Servando having to interfere. Reynaldo Edorta might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoldo Ticho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reynaldo Edorta ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeremias Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Arnoldo Ticho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Edorta in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnoldo Ticho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Empomadores's Amancio Quentin got a free kick in the 95th minute. Many of Chapaleofú FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Chapaleofú FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Empomadores were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
