In the 4thth minute of the game Osvaldo Sustrai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macri Gato AFC's Rolando Hori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Macri Gato AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Quexal came free, but Rolando Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Valiente in the 9th minute of play forced Tarragona FC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Aurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Osvaldo Sustrai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Quexal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Ruperto Valiente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Tarragona FC's Ciriaco Aurre got control of the ball when Guillermo Viviano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciriaco Aurre made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Guillermo Viviano sent off a good shot on target. After 28 minutes, Celso Birjaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Sustrai to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnoldo Baumar kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Ruperto Valiente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macri Gato AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Valiente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute Guillermo Viviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Aurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Viviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Aurre having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Augusto Licerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Aurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Viviano in the 76th minute of the match. Arnoldo Baumar hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 79 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Macri Gato AFC's Ruperto Valiente fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The supporters of Macri Gato AFC booed when Tarragona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Baumar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Tolino, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Guillermo Viviano notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Tarragona FC's Ciriaco Aurre. Ciriaco Aurre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute, Oscar Quexal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolando Hori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Sustrai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Macri Gato AFC fully deserved thier win.
