An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Larra in the 10th minute of play forced Chapaleofú FC's goalkeeper Santiago Servando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Ermegildo Larra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Servando was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 17th minute Isidoro Jerrald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Servando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Reynaldo Edorta came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Chapaleofú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Edorta couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Joanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Eskuin having to interfere. Aquiles Eskuin came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Chapaleofú FC's Reynaldo Edorta. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Edorta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Santiago Servando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Larra in the 31st minute of the match. Characate's Aquiles Eskuin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Characate from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Chapaleofú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Mikelats came free, but Santiago Servando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Larra charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Larra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Characate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Larra to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 47 minutes, Jeremias Joanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapaleofú FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Joanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremias Joanes was the one to do the kick off. Santiago Servando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Jerrald went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Edorta in the 67th minute of play forced Characate's goalkeeper Aquiles Eskuin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Gelacio hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Characate's Aquiles Eskuin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Joanes in the 72nd minute of play. Chapaleofú FC's Santiago Servando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Larra in the 78th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Jeremias Joanes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Aquiles Eskuin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santiago Servando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Larra in the 90th minute of play. Ermegildo Larra might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Servando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ermegildo Larra ran back to his position shaking his head. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
