The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Burmeister FC's Tadeo Rojelio got a free kick in the 5th minute. A hard shot 10 in the game by Agustin Astigar from a close distance when the talented Ignacio Claus managed to make a qualified save. Lunarejos FC's players were relieved. Marcelo Kinsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Rencio having to interfere. Lunarejos FC's Ignacio Claus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Rojelio in the 18th minute of play. Adolfo Rencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Kinsen went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Adolfo Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Mantzio in the 24th minute of play. Marcelo Kinsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Rencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Kinsen ran back to his position shaking his head. Tadeo Rojelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ignacio Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Lunarejos FC's Ignacio Claus got control of the ball when Agustin Astigar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Astigar got free with Ignacio Claus in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Aldo Urbasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacio Claus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Rojelio in the 43rd minute of play. Agustin Astigar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ignacio Claus made a huge save. Agustin Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Claus having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvio Mantzio to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Burmeister FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Rencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Kinsen. If Agustin Astigar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Quintyn during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 60 minutes into the game, one of Burmeister FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 62 minutes, Lunarejos FC's Timoteo Dolfos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Adolfo Rencio. If Silvio Mantzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Burmeister FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Rencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Kinsen. Agustin Astigar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Burmeister FC's Agustin Astigar in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lunarejos FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Tadeo Rojelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burmeister FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Rojelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Azevedo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Teodosio Escobar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Rencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Agustin Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Claus having to interfere.
