Spectators: 7176 (Terracing: 5384, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sixto Socorro started the match with the kick off. Pilcomayo's Ricardo Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Frichoso in the 5th minute of play. Donato Martxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Vito in the 9th minute of play forced Pilcomayo's goalkeeper Ricardo Oinatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Martxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Herminio Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Bembe was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rigoberto Etxatxu. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Bembe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Martxot got free with Benjamin Bembe in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donato Martxot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Bembe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Sixto Socorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ricardo Oinatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Amador Ralondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilcomayo's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Ralondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Bembe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Oinatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Socorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The supporters of Palermo FC booed when Pilcomayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Bingen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Benjamin Bembe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Martxot in the 52nd minute of play. Nicasio Bingen struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Benjamin Bembe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilcomayo. Benjamin Bembe came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Pilcomayo's Rüştü Taçyıldız. But to his dismay, Rüştü Taçyıldız quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ricardo Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Socorro in the 77th minute of the match. Sixto Socorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Bembe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Martxot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Martxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Benjamin Bembe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pilcomayo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
