Los Persas's Faustino Hitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Ellande in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Los Persas's goalkeeper Faustino Hitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Los Persas booed when Subdai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Aimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruperto Karmel struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Faustino Hitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Subdai. The audience was convinced that Ruperto Karmel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Hitz was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Firman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rodolfo Oriol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Firman in the 76th minute of play forced Subdai's goalkeeper Rodolfo Oriol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C. A. Los Persas's Faustino Hitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Ellande in the 78th minute of play. When Tomas Ellande came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Subdai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Ellande couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Horacio Firman made a precise shot to the right of Rodolfo Oriol. Subdai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
