After 10 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Timo. Ramiro Natanael's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Natanael helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Petronila FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Natanael to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 17 minutes, Bernabe Lluciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Lluciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bernabe Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gogo Franco charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gogo Franco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gogo Franco hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Llanos in the 31st minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Damaso Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Generoso Llanos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petronila FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Generoso Llanos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Tulio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Generoso Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Generoso Llanos made the kick off in the second half. Damaso Tulio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafino Beti in the 52nd minute. Robustiano Ruy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Racing Club were furious when Delmar Abeijon was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. If Generoso Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Ruy. Nacho Gaňa came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's Bernabe Lluciano. But to his dismay, Bernabe Lluciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Racing Club's Damaso Tulio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Llanos in the 75th minute of play. Damaso Tulio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Llanos in the 76th minute of play. Generoso Llanos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 77th playminute. Serafino Beti in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damaso Tulio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 82nd minute, Gogo Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafino Beti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Damaso Tulio made a huge save. Serafino Beti struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Damaso Tulio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petronila FC. Alonzo Victoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafino Beti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Damaso Tulio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Robustiano Ruy fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club's protests and gave Robustiano Ruy a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot 92 in the game by Serafino Beti from a close distance when the talented Damaso Tulio managed to make a qualified save. Racing Club's players were relieved. Serafino Beti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damaso Tulio having to make a save. Generoso Llanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Racing Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Petronila FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
