Leon Suero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ambrosio Johans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Gabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Mattin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Leon Sueros short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Ambrosio Johans to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ceferino Fidensio struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ambrosio Johans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Plate. Leon Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Johans having to interfere. Guaberto Rolado's late challenge caught a Senillosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guaberto Rolado helped the player get up and apologised. Guaberto Rolado kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Fidensio in the 62nd minute of play forced Senillosa's goalkeeper Ambrosio Johans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Suero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ambrosio Johans firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gabriel Pancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Gabon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Guaberto Rolado hit a great ball. Ambrosio Johans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Fidensio in the 92nd minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
