If Valentin Dodorol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arbolito's Ulises Roano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Arbolito from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Hannover 1985's Alfredo Domingues got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes, Arbolito's Angelo Silviano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicolas Santiago came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arbolito reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Che in the 21st minute of play forced Arbolito's goalkeeper Ulises Roano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Maximiliano Che who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arbolito's Ulises Roano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulises Roano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Che, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Maximiliano Che had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Gregorio Naike was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arbolito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hannover 1985 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Arbolito's Gregorio Naike got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Valentin Dodorol got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Federico Frances kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ulises Roano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Che in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Valentin Dodorol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Roano having to interfere. Valentin Dodorol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ulises Roano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Arbolito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Frances to maneuver through the defense. Astor Handi, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Valentin Dodorol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramon Calvet hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Valentin Dodorol took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulises Roano. Ulises Roano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Valentin Dodorol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Roano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Dodorol in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match Danilo Rosario shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulises Roano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arbolito's Ulises Roano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Che in the 91st minute of play. Valentin Dodorol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Roano having to interfere. In the 96th minute Maximiliano Che shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Roano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hannover 1985 had played much better football throughout.
