If Luisito Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Perpinya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Cruz in the 5th minute of play. Angelo Perpinya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Uzuri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Osorio having to interfere. The supporters of Molinitos FC booed when Aquiles Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Uzuri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Molinitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Uzuri came free, but Angelo Perpinya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Omar Uzuri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aquiles Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Santos Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Osorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Gorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Aquiles Football Club's Luisito Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Perpinya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 39 played minutes Aquiles Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Cruz. With a little luck, Aquiles Football Club's Ramon Osorio got control of the ball when Jeremias Tabby tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Aquiles Football Club were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisito Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Santos Gabon could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Angelo Perpinya however easily saved by the left post. Ramon Osorio came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Molinitos FC's Aristides Lucero. But to his dismay, Aristides Lucero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Aquiles Football Club's Ramon Osorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Lucero in the 58th minute of play. Jeremias Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emilio Gorbea hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 68th match minute, Aquiles Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Quexal to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Gorbea might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramon Osorio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilio Gorbea ran back to his position shaking his head. Angelo Perpinya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Cruz in the 76th minute of the match. Aquiles Football Club's Ramon Osorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Gorbea in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Luisito Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Molinitos FC's Aristides Lucero got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Angelo Perpinya made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Santos Gabon sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Molinitos FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Sergio Ricart hit a great ball. Although Molinitos FC had been in control for most of the match, Aquiles Football Club still came away with the win.
