Gaudencio Martxelin hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Oalo came free, but Paulo Gabon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Cresconio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Suero in the 29th minute. Leon Suero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Daniel Cresconio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Gabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Balesio, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience was convinced that Laureano Balesio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Gabon was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.

Ceferino Fidensio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Cresconio having to interfere. Laureano Balesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Paulo Gabon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tellier FC booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Rolado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Balesio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Paulo Gabon 60 minutes into the match. Paulo Gabon was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Laureano Balesio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Laureano Balesio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. 71 minutes into the match, Tellier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Fidensio came free, but Daniel Cresconio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Leon Suero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Suero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, River Plate's Paulo Gabon got control of the ball when Efrain Oalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernabe Inguma's late challenge caught a Tellier FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernabe Inguma helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Oalo got free with Paulo Gabon in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ceferino Fidensio came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Fidensio couldn't finish the play. The River Plate supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tellier FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Tellier FC.
