Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Santo Galo kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salomillo AC's goalkeeper Geronimo Matei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santo Galo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matias Montel having to make a save. In the 9th minute, Gustavo Erasto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the last second Geronimo Matei throw himself and got hold of the ball when Teobaldo Ekialde in the 10thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilano Blasi in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Montel saved Club Atlético Platense from getting behind. Maximiliano Inocente scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geronimo Matei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matias Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Blasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. A hard shot by Silvio Incendio from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Geronimo Matei's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 26th play minute Arsenio Asier came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Geronimo Matei. 2-0. 38 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Platense's Maximiliano Inocente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 53rd match minute, Club Atlético Platense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. Salomillo AC's Santo Galo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Atilano Blasi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matias Montel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Gustavo Erasto kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. A beautiful save bye Salomillo AC's goalie prevented a goal. Simon Loiola's late challenge caught a Salomillo AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Loiola helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Atlético Platense getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Simon Loiola hit a great ball. Maximiliano Inocente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Matei having to interfere. Salomillo AC's Geronimo Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Asier in the 86th minute of play. Arsenio Asier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Matei having to interfere. Arnoldo Lehoi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Club Atlético Platense players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
