The Arbolito fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Arbolito's Javier Ado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aquiles Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arbolito the free kick. In the 20th minute, Ramon Calvet sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Aquiles Football Club's Ramon Osorio didn't even have to move. Ulises Roano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Tauro in the 23rd minute of the match. Aquiles Football Club's Santos Gabon got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisito Cruz was the one to do the kick off. Ulises Roano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Tauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 54 played minutes Aquiles Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Refugio. Nestor Tiadoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Javier Ado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ramon Osorio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Javier Ado's late challenge caught a Aquiles Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Ado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Arbolito getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Javier Ado hit a great ball. Santos Gabon struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ulises Roano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aquiles Football Club. After some careless play in the Arbolito defense, Luisito Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulises Roano. The Arbolito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulises Roano should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Santos Gabon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aquiles Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Gabon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Roano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Aquiles Football Club booed when Arbolito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos Gabon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Ulises Roano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Federico Frances kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Arbolito got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Etxepare. Arbolito's Nestor Tiadoro got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Roano having to interfere.
