Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute Atilano Blasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Vistruario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Atilano Blasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Atilano Blasi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atilano Blasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Vistruario having to interfere. If Atilano Blasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Olmos AFC defense, Atilano Blasi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmacio Vistruario. The Olmos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmacio Vistruario should have stopped the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 82 minutes into the game, when Cristo Tebaldo put in a rough tackle. In the 82nd minute, one of Olmos AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olmos AFC. 86 minutes into the game, Cesar Selatse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olmos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salomillo AC the free kick. In the 86th minute, Cesar Selatse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Olmos AFC booed when Salomillo AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Onbera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Atilano Blasi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salomillo AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Blasi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
