After having played for 12 minutes, Ambrosio Galeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOCAmpeon OFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Galeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Israel Petri made a precise shot to the right of Justo Vedillo. BOCAmpeon OFF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Bruno Ihintza fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mencué FC's protests and gave Bruno Ihintza a yellow card for diving instead. 22 minutes into the game, Orlando Valerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mencué FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BOCAmpeon OFF the free kick. 1-1 came in the 23rd minute when Eugenio Domeka all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Julio Vigil. In the 33rd minute, Lázaro Oliverio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ambrosio Galeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Julio Vigil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Vedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Petri in the 37th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Israel Petri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justo Vedillo was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Oliverio in the 69th minute of play forced Mencué FC's goalkeeper Julio Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of BOCAmpeon OFF booed when Mencué FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Ihintza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justo Vedillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mencué FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
