Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Constantino Cordarin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Carancho FC's Albino Isauro pulled a muscle in his leg after 2 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Haroldo Urtsin charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Damian Inocente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Honorio Gelacio made a huge save. Constantino Cordarin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Constantino Cordarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Gelacio having to interfere. When Hector Lia fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carancho FC's protests and gave Hector Lia a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Salbatore during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 40 minutes into the match, Carancho FC's goalkeeper Honorio Gelacio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Inocente. In the 42nd minute, Damian Inocente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Delfino, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes Carancho FC got a freekick which was hit by Hector Lia. 48 minutes into the match, Carancho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Cordarin came free, but Honorio Gelacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Delfino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Lima's goalkeeper Fernando Eyague had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Delfino. After 57 minutes of play Carancho FC's Hector Lia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. Vinicio Salbatore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristian Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Eyague made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Vinicio Salbatore sent off a good shot on target. If Damian Inocente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Gelacio came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Lima's Damian Inocente. But to his dismay, Damian Inocente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Marcos Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Fernando Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinicio Salbatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Eyague having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Vinicio Salbatore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Vinicio Salbatore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carancho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Salbatore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carancho FC played a much better game than Lima and deserved their victory. The Lima players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
