In the 18th minute, CHIVA FC's Filiberto Esdras ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonatan Llorienzo. Jonatan Llorienzo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Lino Gelmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Lalla having to interfere. Naipe AFC's Jonatan Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Esdras in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Ariel Lucado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Naipe AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind CHIVA FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Lalla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Naipe AFC's Lino Gelmiro got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Esdras in the 45th minute of play forced Naipe AFC's goalkeeper Jonatan Llorienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
