Ildefonso Guzman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. El Belgranito's Ildefonso Guzman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Calvino in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Belgranito's goalkeeper Ildefonso Guzman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vigil was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ricardo Novaro. Luisito Pelayo in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vigil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Israel Petri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Guzman having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Calvino in the 29th minute of play forced El Belgranito's goalkeeper Ildefonso Guzman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaudencio Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ildefonso Guzman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gaudencio Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaudencio Calvino in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ildefonso Guzman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Israel Petri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ildefonso Guzman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mencué FC's Gaudencio Calvino got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 48 minutes of play, Mencué FC's Gaudencio Calvino made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ildefonso Guzman was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Israel Petri made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Hustaz during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Mencué FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Hustaz to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genaro Dolfo in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vigil saved Mencué FC from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Mencué FC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Dolfo came free, but Julio Vigil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vigil came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by El Belgranito's Genaro Dolfo. But to his dismay, Genaro Dolfo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Julio Vigil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Pelayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Luisito Pelayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Ado's late challenge caught a Mencué FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Ado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, El Belgranito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Ado to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Angelo Oliverios sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and El Belgranito's Ildefonso Guzman didn't even have to move. Gaudencio Calvino might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ildefonso Guzman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaudencio Calvino ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Erlantz's late challenge caught a Mencué FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Erlantz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Belgranito getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Pedro Erlantz hit a great ball. Federico Ado kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Mencué FC's Angelo Oliverios broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ildefonso Guzman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Petri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paolo Hustaz kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mencué FC defense, Genaro Dolfo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vigil. The Mencué FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vigil should have stopped the shot. Israel Petri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Guzman having to interfere. 99 minutes into the game, Ricardo Novaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Belgranito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mencué FC the free kick. 98 minutes into the game, one of El Belgranito:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ildefonso Guzman had in the 100thth minute some difficulties stopping Angelo Oliverios's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
