Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Albino Isauro kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, CHIVA FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Lalla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Delfino. After 5 played minutes CHIVA FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Belarmo. Albino Isauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Lalla having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Isauro in the 12th minute of play forced CHIVA FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Lalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Albino Isauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carancho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Isauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Delfino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filiberto Esdras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Filiberto Esdras came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the CHIVA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Esdras couldn't finish the play. CHIVA FC's Alfonso Satordi got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 1-0 became the score in the 39th minute when Albino Isauro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, CHIVA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Lia came free, but Jacobo Lalla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Filiberto Esdras made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Eliseo Etxatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute Filiberto Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Gelacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filiberto Esdras was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. CHIVA FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alfonso Satordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Honorio Gelacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernan Semeno hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Carancho FC's Marcos Delfino got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albino Isauro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Lalla having to make a save. Albino Isauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Carancho FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Hector Lia hit a great ball. Jacobo Lalla came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Carancho FC's Albino Isauro. But to his dismay, Albino Isauro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Hector Lia kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. CHIVA FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
