When Luisito Pelayo came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the El Belgranito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Pelayo couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, El Belgranito's Genaro Dolfo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Lalla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luisito Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, El Belgranito's Pedro Erlantz got a free kick in the 18th minute. After recieving a nice pass, CHIVA FC's Fernan Semeno tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Luisito Pelayo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Lalla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Luisito Pelayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacobo Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as El Belgranito's Luisito Pelayo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacobo Lalla. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Jacobo Lalla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Genaro Dolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jacobo Lalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genaro Dolfo to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Filiberto Esdras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacobo Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genaro Dolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With 67 minutes on the clock, Fernan Semeno commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for El Belgranito. Jesús Saliba stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jacobo Lalla. 3-0. Edgard Firmo's late challenge caught a CHIVA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Firmo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Edgard Firmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingo Belarmo charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingo Belarmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domingo Belarmo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Genaro Dolfo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Lalla. CHIVA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Genaro Dolfo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in CHIVA FC's zone, Genaro Dolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Lalla came out of the goal and Genaro Dolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingo Belarmo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Dolfo in the 86th minute of play forced CHIVA FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Lalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Lalla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genaro Dolfo's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. When Luisito Pelayo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the El Belgranito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Pelayo couldn't finish the play. Genaro Dolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Lalla having to interfere. Alfonso Satordi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in CHIVA FC's zone, Luisito Pelayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Lalla came out of the goal and Luisito Pelayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Etxatxu hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. El Belgranito's Jesús Saliba was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacobo Lalla in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. El Belgranito were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CHIVA FC for a fine match.
