In the 14th minute Leonardo Gau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Herensuge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hilario Garaile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ipisca's zone, Celso Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Garaile came out of the goal and Celso Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnoldo Santo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnoldo Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romulo Ekhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Herensuge having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Epifanio Montrel managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Cicloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Montrel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Garaile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Epifanio Montrel sped through Ipisca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hilario Garaile. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Santo to make the kick off. With his leg Hilario Garaile managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when La Cicloneta's Arnoldo Santo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 84 minutes of play, La Cicloneta's Arnoldo Santo made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilario Garaile was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celso Sancho hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Hilario Garaile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Santo in the 93rd minute. Rene Herensuge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Ekhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. If Celso Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Cicloneta played a much better game than Ipisca and deserved their victory. The Ipisca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
