Spectators: 6130 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 30) Provoleta FC's Emilio Bembe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Urbano Montrel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chivilcoy's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbano Montrel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Leoncio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Generoso Manuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Provoleta FC's zone, Urbano Montrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Leoncio came out of the goal and Urbano Montrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urbano Montrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Ponce in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Hernando saved Chivilcoy from getting behind. Alvaro Hernando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Ponce, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Alvaro Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Manuelo in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Provoleta FC's Samuel Ponce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvaro Hernando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Emilio Bembe notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chivilcoy's Alvaro Hernando. Alvaro Hernando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvaro Hernando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Vergaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urbano Montrel let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 36th minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. 40 minutes into the match, Chivilcoy's Urbano Montrel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristo Leoncio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cipriano Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Leoncio having to interfere. The long shot by Florencio Ricart in the 45th minute really tested Cristo Leoncio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silverio Vergaray during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chivilcoy booed when Provoleta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Vergaray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chivilcoy's Urbano Montrel got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urbano Montrel was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Provoleta FC's zone, Urbano Montrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Leoncio came out of the goal and Urbano Montrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvaro Hernando made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Samuel Ponce sent off a good shot on target. Chivilcoy's Camilo Argider got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urbano Montrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cristo Leoncio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermengildo Manuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Hernando having to interfere. Chivilcoy's Alvaro Hernando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Chivilcoy from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chivilcoy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Chivilcoy's Camilo Argider got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Urbano Montrel scored 2-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristo Leoncio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th match minute, Provoleta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Vergaray to maneuver through the defense. If Urbano Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Quin kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Chivilcoy were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
