Celso Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Niceto Gentza made a huge save. Evaristo Venceslao's late challenge caught a La Cicloneta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Gaufred to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Santo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Gentza. Gral. Mosconi F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnoldo Santo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Celso Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Cicloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Gentza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niceto Gentza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Santo in the 62nd minute of play. Cesar Gaufred charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Gaufred the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Gral. Mosconi F.C got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Gaufred. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Arnoldo Santo put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Niceto Gentza. After 76 played minutes Gral. Mosconi F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Roldanillo. In the 81st minute, Arnoldo Santo made a precise shot to the right of Niceto Gentza. Gral. Mosconi F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 88th minute Arnoldo Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Gentza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Montrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cesar Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Cicloneta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
