Igor Bizi ran back to his position shaking his head. When Arnoldo Santo fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Cicloneta's protests and gave Arnoldo Santo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, La Cicloneta's Arnoldo Santo got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Lucio Inko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Epifanio Montrel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herminio Mikelats was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Perdido AFC's Igor Bizi got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Igor Bizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Arnoldo Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Mikelats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 46th minute when Arnoldo Santo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Igor Bizi made the kick off in the second half. Igor Bizi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 53 minutes, Igor Bizi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perdido AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Bizi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. La Cicloneta's Arnoldo Santo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Celso Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 74 minutes, Arsenio Belarmo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Cicloneta and the Perdido AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arsenio Belarmo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A collision led to Perdido AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Oscar Gurutz hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Arnoldo Santo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perdido AFC's Igor Bizi got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herminio Mikelats stood somewhat misplaced when Arnoldo Santo came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 84 minute. Herminio Mikelats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Montrel in the 89th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Santo got free with Herminio Mikelats in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Perdido AFC's Herminio Mikelats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Perdido AFC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Perdido AFC's zone, Arnoldo Santo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Mikelats came out of the goal and Arnoldo Santo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Cicloneta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
