After 7 minutes, Ivan Bladi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juan Manuel de Rosas and the Pagancillo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Juan Manuel de Rosas getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ivan Bladi hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Bonifacio Goi made a precise shot to the right of Pascual Ruisko. Juan Manuel de Rosas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Pascual Ruisko came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Pagancillo FC's Carmelo Gilabert. But to his dismay, Carmelo Gilabert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 19th minute, Gavino Sabino made a precise shot to the right of Isaac Eguen. Pagancillo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 22nd minute, Rolando Claus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Eguen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tomas Milian. Pascual Ruisko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Goi in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Gilabert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pascual Ruisko was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Pascual Ruisko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Goi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Juan Manuel de Rosas getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Danilo Raymon hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match, Gavino Sabino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isaac Eguen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Primitivo Bernaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Bernaldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Primitivo Bernaldo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Tab in the 48th minute of play forced Pagancillo FC's goalkeeper Isaac Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifacio Goi was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Juan Manuel de Rosas's Gavino Sabino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaac Eguen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Juan Manuel de Rosas's Pascual Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Goi in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Tab in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Eguen saved Pagancillo FC from getting behind. When Carmelo Gilabert came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Pagancillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Gilabert couldn't finish the play. Carmelo Gilabert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Ruisko having to interfere. Pagancillo FC's Bonifacio Goi got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gavino Sabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Eusebio Brion fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juan Manuel de Rosas's protests and gave Eusebio Brion a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Juan Manuel de Rosas's Eusebio Brion got a free kick in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Hugo Tab notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Pagancillo FC's Isaac Eguen. Isaac Eguen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pascual Ruisko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Quirze in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pagancillo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Juan Manuel de Rosas.
