In the 32nd minute of the match Tomas Chap sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Chucho skillfully saved the ball. Silverio Vergaray kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Provoleta FC got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Vergaray. Zeledon Sabino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Cristo Leoncio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Provoleta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 71 minutes into the game, BOSCO FC's Zeledon Sabino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristo Leoncio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 77th match minute, BOSCO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Birjaio to maneuver through the defense. After 98 minutes, Samuel Ponce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Provoleta FC and the BOSCO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Samuel Ponce kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
