In the 10thth minute of the game Urbano Montrel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gral. Mosconi F.C's Niceto Gentza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The long shot by Gabriel Obeko in the 12th minute really tested Niceto Gentza's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 17th minute Baldomero Loramendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Hernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Gentza was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Florencio Ricart. With his leg Niceto Gentza managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Chivilcoy's Urbano Montrel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cirilo Camerino hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Chivilcoy's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Loramendi came free, but Alvaro Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mosconi F.C booed when Chivilcoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Manuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Chivilcoy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Manuelo to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Antonio Igon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niceto Gentza acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Florencio Ricart. Chivilcoy's Alvaro Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Roldanillo in the 46th minute of play. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomero Loramendi to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Chivilcoy got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Argider. The long shot by Evaristo Venceslao in the 53rd minute really tested Alvaro Hernando's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Urbano Montrel might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niceto Gentza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbano Montrel ran back to his position shaking his head. Urbano Montrel took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niceto Gentza. Niceto Gentza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alvaro Hernando made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ricardo Roldanillo sent off a good shot on target. Cirilo Camerino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Alvaro Hernando made a huge save. Mosconi F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Torres came free, but Niceto Gentza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urbano Montrel ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urbano Montrel in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niceto Gentza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gral. Mosconi F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chivilcoy.
