After a defensive mix-up in Perdido AFC's zone, Efrain Ceandro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Mikelats came out of the goal and Efrain Ceandro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Inko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Perdido AFC's Gaston Telmo got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute, Teo Avellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Efrain Ceandro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herminio Mikelats skillfully saved the ball. Oscar Gurutz's late challenge caught a Verón FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Gurutz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Perdido AFC's Oscar Gurutz got a free kick in the 26th minute. Alfredo Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Inko, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute Octavio Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Mikelats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Octavio Markel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herminio Mikelats was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Nevada got free with Herminio Mikelats in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Efrain Ceandro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herminio Mikelats. The goal made the score 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Verón FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perdido AFC the free kick. A collision led to Verón FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Enzo Nevada hit a great ball. Verón FC's Alfredo Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Bizi in the 52nd minute of play. Alfredo Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Mattin in the 55th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Octavio Markel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herminio Mikelats was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. The corner ended in Efrain Ceandro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Perdido AFC's Herminio Mikelats did a great save. 64 minutes into the match, Verón FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Peli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Bizi. After 65 played minutes Verón FC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Nevada. After 72 minutes of play, Verón FC's Efrain Ceandro made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herminio Mikelats was left in no man's land by his defense there! Perdido AFC's Herminio Mikelats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Markel in the 75th minute of play. Artemio Mirande took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Herminio Mikelats. Perdido AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Octavio Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Efrain Ceandro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verón FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Octavio Markel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Herminio Mikelats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perdido AFC's Herminio Mikelats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Nevada in the 92nd minute of play. Verón FC's attack was well implemented in the 93rd minute, but when Octavio Markel was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Perdido AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Ceandro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. When the referee ended the match the Verón FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
