When Octavio Markel came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Verón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Markel couldn't finish the play. After 20 minutes, Leonel Chus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BOSCO FC and the Verón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonel Chus hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Freddy Chinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Peli having to interfere. Alfredo Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Sabino in the 26th minute of the match. After 78 minutes, Octavio Markel made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. BOSCO FC's Simon Chucho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute of the match Pastor Tabby sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Chucho skillfully saved the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Octavio Markel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Simon Chucho, 0-5. Zeledon Sabino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alfredo Peli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Verón FC played a much better game than BOSCO FC and deserved their victory. The BOSCO FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
