Spectators: 6925 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Eulalio Berbiz made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Rik got free with Saul Godoy in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saverio Asier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Gorbea having to interfere. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Altavysta's goalkeeper Israel Gorbea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabian Maldonado took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Israel Gorbea. Israel Gorbea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Altavysta getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ladislao Tajo hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Eulalio Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Saverio Asier came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Almirante Brown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Asier couldn't finish the play. Saverio Asier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Israel Gorbea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Altavysta's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Asier came free, but Israel Gorbea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Octavio Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Altavysta's zone, Octavio Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Gorbea came out of the goal and Octavio Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Asier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Israel Gorbea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Gorbea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Israel Gorbea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Asier in the 42nd minute of the match. Israel Gorbea came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Almirante Brown's Saverio Asier. But to his dismay, Saverio Asier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 45th match minute, Altavysta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Jorrin to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Maldonado was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Rey to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ladislao Tajo during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ladislao Tajo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Silvestre Atarrabi's late challenge caught a Altavysta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvestre Atarrabi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Silvestre Atarrabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon Rik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Maldonado struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Israel Gorbea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almirante Brown. Octavio Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Altavysta's zone, Ignacio Rey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Gorbea came out of the goal and Ignacio Rey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Saverio Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Gorbea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th match minute, Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Martino to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd match minute, Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Behe to maneuver through the defense. Isaias Pierres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Gorbea having to interfere. Fabian Maldonado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Israel Gorbea made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Saverio Asier sent off a good shot on target. Ignacio Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Israel Gorbea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Saverio Asier fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Almirante Brown's Octavio Martino got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Israel Gorbea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabian Maldonado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 92 minute of play. Octavio Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Gorbea having to interfere. When the match was over Almirante Brown could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Altavysta throughout the match.
