Academia Redonda Juniors's Clemente Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Aragones in the 7th minute of play. Erasmo Aragones might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Faro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erasmo Aragones ran back to his position shaking his head. Damaso Jax's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Clemente Faro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Erasmo Aragones managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roosevelt FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Aragones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Faro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erasmo Aragones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Damaso Jax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Clemente Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Academia Redonda Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Tebaldo. In the 28th match minute, Roosevelt FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Duarte to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Gavino Mikeldi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ambrosio Jorrin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Damaso Jax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Faro having to interfere. With a little luck, Academia Redonda Juniors's Clemente Faro got control of the ball when Damaso Jax tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Erasmo Aragones took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Clemente Faro to make any attempt to save it. Erasmo Aragones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ambrosio Jorrin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Calixto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Clemente Faro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Jax's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 70 minutes of play, Roosevelt FC's Erasmo Aragones made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clemente Faro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damaso Jax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Clemente Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Leheren hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Damaso Jax managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clemente Faro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roosevelt FC. When Erasmo Aragones came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Roosevelt FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Aragones couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Roosevelt FC were the better team. Roosevelt FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
