Mandalado FC's Arnulfo Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Pelayo in the 19th minute of play. Generoso Batista's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cayetano Bilbo firmly grabbed it by the left post. With his leg Cayetano Bilbo managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Mandalado FC's Cristian Gilesindo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Generoso Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mandalado FC booed when Iluminatis F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Nofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Benigno Pelayo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Iluminatis F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Pelayo couldn't finish the play. Cristian Gilesindo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Cayetano Bilbo made a huge save. With a little luck, Iluminatis F.C.'s Cayetano Bilbo got control of the ball when Cristian Gilesindo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benigno Pelayo made a kick off. Cayetano Bilbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Florian, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Felipe Florian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Cayetano Bilbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Gaufred was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Gilesindo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Bilbo saved Iluminatis F.C. from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Cristian Gilesindo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mandalado FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
