Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paolo Bikendi took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Ambrosio Admon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Chuse came out of the goal and Ambrosio Admon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ambrosio Admon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, San Lorenzo's Segundo Chuse got control of the ball when Ambrosio Admon tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Filiberto Inguma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Admon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Segundo Chuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paolo Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes, Ermegildo Neto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Lorenzo and the Rumios players grew even worse after the yellow card. San Lorenzo's Faustino Ruy got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filiberto Inguma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Segundo Chuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Segundo Chuse came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Rumios's Ambrosio Admon. But to his dismay, Ambrosio Admon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 43rd minute, Filiberto Inguma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Segundo Chuse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timoteo Kinsen. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Faustino Ruy came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the San Lorenzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Ruy couldn't finish the play. Filiberto Inguma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Segundo Chuse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Filiberto Inguma struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Segundo Chuse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rumios. 61 minutes into the game, Filiberto Inguma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Segundo Chuse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Filiberto Inguma put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Segundo Chuse. San Lorenzo's Segundo Chuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Admon in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Filiberto Inguma notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of San Lorenzo's Segundo Chuse. Segundo Chuse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th match minute, Rumios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Chayo to maneuver through the defense. Segundo Chuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Inguma, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosio Admon during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Rumios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Admon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Chuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Inguma, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute Ambrosio Admon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Chuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Lorenzo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rumios.
