A collision led to El Castigador 1212 getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Patryk Tomporowski hit a great ball. Serafin Martxelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Panfilo having to interfere. El Castigador 1212's Gervasio Tipi got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angel Elazar hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 24th minute, when El Castigador 1212's Gervasio Tipi after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Cornelio Platon in Notts County Footbal Club's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. When Cristobal Elequemedo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Notts County Footbal Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Elequemedo couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, El Castigador 1212's Raul Adrio got a free kick in the 28th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bonifacio Ereinotz during the 29th minute. In the 40th minute Serafin Martxelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Panfilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Gervasio Tipi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cecilio Panfilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Martxelin in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gervasio Tipi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Belarmo's late challenge caught a Notts County Footbal Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Gervasio Tipi managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Castigador 1212's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Tipi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Platon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 minutes of play, El Castigador 1212's Gervasio Tipi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Platon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gervasio Tipi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Platon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Serafin Martxelin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Gervasio Tipi managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Castigador 1212's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Tipi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Platon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernabe Ignatius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gervasio Tipi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
